tUtu bAbY

So in my Easter post, I mentioned that I had made a tutu for Lucy while I was in Arizona. Here it is!!

I Love It!!
Again with the camera face...
(Don't mind the mess behind her...)
What do ya think? I've discovered a new found love for being crafty and making all sorts of accessories for little girls. These tutu's , hair bows/clips, along with some other things. And I love doing it! So much fun!

CALLING ALL MOMS!!!!!

******Disclaimer- Detailed talk of severe diarrhea******

HELP!!!!! Ok, so here's the deal. Lucy got sick on Sunday and since then has had TERRIBLE diarrhea. I'm talking literal explosions multiple times a days. The kind where all I can do is throw her in the tub and hose her off. And I'm SOO done! Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might help her "regulate" She's on soy formula and I've been giving her the B.R.A.T (bannanas, rice, apples, toast) diet, but nothing is working. Anytime she eats something, an explosion comes shortly after. I just need some advice!! I am seriously on the verge of tears all day! I just don't know what to do for her. Luckily she's been so good and so happy and I am so grateful for that. Thank you for any input ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arizona Easter Weekend

This past weekend, we were able to go down to Arizona with my brother and his wife and my mom for Easter. We left Wednesday after work and drove all night and got in at 3 AM. It was so nice to be able to just get away and take a break. These pictures are kind of out of order, but oh well!

This is Easter morning. We left to drive home right after the Easter egg hunt so I don't have any pictures of Lucy in her Easter dress. I'll post some later.

Lucy lovin' her eggs!

Finding her basket! This is her new "camera" face. She is such a poser!

Haha! Jeremy (my brother) had his birthday on Thursday and my aunt made this amazing cake for him!! So funny!
We were able to go to the cemetery were my grandpa Litchfield is buried on one of the days we were there. It was really interesting going because although that is where his body is, he wasn't there. We all knew that. It was a good reminder of the reason for Easter.

I think this is a pretty cool picture. All of the people in this picture are named after my Grandma. Her name is Lola Jean Litchfield. My mom is Terri Jean, and then my cousin is Kali Jean, and then my little Lucy Jean. Amazing women!

John and Lucy with Grandpa
On Saturday, we went to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch. It brought back so many memories. My Dad used to work for them and own the franchise in Utah. So going there to eat and play was so much fun. The kids loved it. And seriously, it's the best pizza EVER!! I really wish they would open them back up here in Utah.

These are our very good family friends, Bill and Kathy Pollard. There are like a second family to me. I call them mom and dad. Bill was diagnosed last year with MS and is doing very well. It's been hard for him because he was always so active and a construction foreman, and now he can;t work. But he is such a good sport! He has such an amazing testimony and is such an inspiration. I love you guys!

Papa Bill and Lucy
I know that this post was really long and full of pictures, but we had a very eventful weekend! Everything was perfect except for the fact that on Friday, I woke up SOOO sick. I was in and out of the bathroom all day. Not so fun. I'm still recovering but feeling much better!
I'll have to post it later, but I made an adorable little tutu for Lucy while I was in Arizona. So cute! You'll love it! Ok, well I think this post is long enough, so i'm gonna sign off:)

Curls and Cake

This past Saturday we had my whole family over for the 1st Annual Theme Night. We all decided that we would get together once a month for a theme night of sorts. It was way fun. This time it was our turn to be the hosts. The theme was Irish/St. Patrick's. We had Shepherds Pie, Corned Beef and potatoes and bottled beverages haha. Then we watched the movie Waking Ned Divine, which is way funny by the way! And I made this cake. You can tell from the picture before I frosted it that it's a shamrock lol. I dyed the cake batter green so the whole thing would be green. Not bad for a last minute decision right?

I also discovered a new hairstyle for Lucy! Curly! It's so dang cute! She has so much hair and it has a natural wave/curl to it so I wanted to try making it curly to see what would happen. Well it worked and it's adorable. I love it!
My 2 favorite people in the whole world!!
So cute...

Could be fun...

I've seen this on quite a few peoples blogs, and I've decided to do it myself...

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make for you!
2. What I create will be just for you.
3. It'll be done by the end of summer.
4. You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a card. It may be a scarf or maybe even some creation I haven't yet dreamed up. I may draw. I may bake you something and mail it to you. It may not be big or impressive. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure! But lets be honest here. This is me and I will likely do something amazing. =) So come on, sign up!
5. I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to post this same blog on their blog and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Let's keep the chain of love going around!!

Come on kids! Couldn't hurt right?

Feeling Crafty...

So today I was cleaning Lucy's room and going through all of her hair stuff and realized how much stuff she has!! And I was sick of it being everywhere so I decided to do something about it. And this is what I came up with...
I LOVE IT!!!

I made these out of some ribbon I had laying around and it was sooooo easy. I have them hanging on the inside of her closet door with velcro in case I ever need to move them.

So easy and so cute!!!

It's About Time!

it's been a while since I've posted. Honestly it's because nothing has been going on until this week. Since I last posted, my little brother Reagan entered the MTC, which was amazing and bittersweet at the same time. We've gotten a few letters and he seems like he is doing fantastic and is loving it! (check out his blog elderwing.blogspot.com) Other than that, things have been pretty boring....until like I said earlier this week. Why you ask? My daughter is FINALLY crawling!!!!! Granted she is still figuring it out, she's doing it! I was really convinced that she was going to walk before she ever decided to crawl and then on Wednesday, she just did it! No coaching or anything. It was so random the first time she did it, I almost missed it. She doesn't do it all the time, which is why it's taken me this long to get any pictures or videos. But I got a couple today so I decided to finally post.

Now this is Lucy's new favorite slepping position. It's so funny! The girl is all over the place in her crib!
So Funny!

I had to put this video up cause I think it's hilarious! Lucy has been teething(she now has 3 teeth!), so she has a ton of saliva in her mouth...and this is what she does with it. I have one talented daughter...(don't mind the crazy hair)

Anyways, that's just kind of what's been going on the past few weeks. I'll be better, I swear. (Not that anyone actually reads this...)

PS Twilight comes out on DVD tomorrow and I am so super excited!! I know, I'm a nerd...
